Color Kinetics now offers a range of BABA compliant luminaires manufactured in the United States. The same performance, quality, and longevity lighting designers and specifiers have come to rely on, now available for federal projects subject to Buy American Act requirements.

Federal projects in the US may be subject to domestic preference requirements that affect product procurement.

The Buy American Act (BAA), Trade Agreements Act (TAA), and Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) each establish different standards depending on the nature and funding of the project. Identifying the applicable requirements.

The recipient of the funding, rather than Color Kinetics, has the ultimate responsibility of identifying the applicable domestic preference requirement, e.g., BAA TAA or FHWA.” The applicable requirement is typically identified in the RFP/project documentation.
