Ten Pin Megabowl isn’t your grandfather’s bowling alley, as evidenced by its sleek, modern interior, which is lit by Color Kinetics’ intelligent solid-state lighting technology.

The Cambridge, UK-based entertainment complex features a bold lighting scheme designed by Jonathan Rycroft of INTO Lighting, who applied 16 ColorBlast® 12 systems to add color and movement to a textural wall in the video gaming area. The systems were chosen upon recommendation by Terry Reeves of Lighting Technology Projects, who assisted with the installation. “The ColorBlast systems met Ten Pin’s requirements for a low-maintenance solution that would also achieve the desired aesthetic effects,” said Reeves. “They produce a variety of color washes to alter the environment over the course of the evening, ranging from ‘cosmic’ looks with vibrant colors to more gradually-paced color changes.”   Learn more...
