Maximus Spa Salon, New York, NewYork, USA

Maximus Spa in New York City's trendy Soho neighborhood uses Color Kinetics to set their aesthetic services apart in an innovative way - illumination therapy. With Color Kinetics® iColor® Cove fixtures, the spa offers customized "light stories," such as energizing and relaxing, to accompany its clientele's treatments. The salon's designers chose Color Kinetics fixtures for their ability to be intelligently controlled and programmed, and their low maintenance. Dividing each 10' x 10' treatment room are sheer fabric panels sandwiched between two-panel glass walls. At the bottom of these glass walls are a total of 100 pieces of iColor Cove® 12" fixtures, uplighting the fabric panels with softly changing hues of colored light. All the fixtures are controlled via a Multi Synchronizer allowing for instantaneous show changes. At Maximus, colored light is therapeutic and beautiful at the same time!
