For Loews Cineplex Entertainment, Color Kinetics created a knock-your-socks-off extravaganza of light that brings a taste of high-tech to New York City's Times Square. This unique blend of digital wizardry and cinematic fantasy offers something no other sign designed for illumination ever has: six stories of gleaming light, brilliant changing colors and dazzling lighting effects---all accomplished without a single lightbulb. Instead of traditional lighting sources, this sign contains nearly a quarter of a million red, green and blue LEDs that, when combined with Color Kinetics revolutionary ChromacoreŽ technology, are the brightest thing to hit the New York theatre scene since Rodgers and Hammerstein.
