A premier nightclub in west Jakarta, Indonesia, Klub 7 (K7) is a massive underground disco featuring dance music from the city’s most notorious DJs. Spread over five levels, the total floor space is more than 180,000 square feet (17,500 square meters) or roughly the size of three soccer fields, and features over 1,800 Color Kinetics LED fixtures.

Lighting designer Brendon Bell conceptualized a lighting scheme to encompass the entire nightclub. He aspired to incorporate a wide array of creative elements in the lighting design, but required reliable, long-lasting and completely controllable light sources. Bell turned to Color Kinetics, utilizing its LED-based lighting technology to enable the creation of distinct and vibrant light shows for the potential 5,000 nightly club goers.
