This high-end fashion retailer located in Aoyama - the Fifth Avenue of Tokyo - found a truly unique way to get customers in the door. The designers installed four rows of Color Kinetics® iColor® MR fixtures, 696 fixtures in all, in the ceiling along the length of one wall. The fixtures are programmed to change from red to green using iPlayer® - that is until someone walks in the door, triggering a sensor that signals the lights to subtly change to yellow one row at a time. Two ColorBlast® fixtures also are placed next to a stairway along the wall providing a soft spotlight of color. The intelligent control inherent in Color Kinetics technology makes this interactive display possible - to the delight of all the shoppers in Tokyo!
