The Children's Museum of Indianapolis sends kids of all ages on a magically colorful ride with Color Kinetics full spectrum digital lighting. In the early 1970s, the museum added an original Victorian-era Dentzel carousel to its collection, and spent the next few years painstakingly restoring it to its former glory. The carousel is now part of the museum's permanent exhibits, offering carefree rides to the over 1 million children and adults who visit each year. The museum added a high tech touch to the exhibit to entertain and enthrall the museum's visitors on the carousel, as well as while they are in line awaiting their carousel ride - full spectrum digital lighting from Color Kinetics. The Museum installed Color Kinetics® ColorBlast® fixtures to illuminate a 75' long wall behind the carousel with vibrant colors and brilliant color changing effects.
