Cathay Financial Dome
Taipei, Taiwan
Cathay Financial Center in Taipei is the new corporate headquarters of Cathay Financial Holdings - the leading financial services institution in Taiwan. This majestic, 26-story structure is awash with color and light, crowned by a central dome that's surrounded by four smaller domes below. All five domes display cross fades between pleasing shades of jade green and golden yellow, which are Cathay's corporate colors. The domes can also display unique color-changing effects for special occasions.
Color Kinetics' intelligent LED systems were chosen over conventional lighting methods for their long source life, low power consumption, ease of maintenance, and unrivalled visual effects - which artfully showcase Cathay's marquee building in downtown Taipei.
