After its launch in 2001, the BMW MINI has had staunch support from car enthusiasts, and its popularity constitutes its own showroom at BMW dealerships around the world. To celebrate a new showroom opening in Verona, Italy, the BMW dealership featured Color Kinetics intelligent LED-based lighting solutions to bring a vibrant burst of color to its launch ceremony.

Lighting designer Piero Comparotto of Arkilux conceptualized an innovative design to bring colorful effects to the event. Comparotto chose Color Kinetics ColorBlast® 12 fixtures – an LED-based wall-washing light – to make a dramatic impact by creating glowing columns of light. Four fixtures were mounted permanently at ceiling-height, on each side of the two square columns, projecting vibrant colors of red, orange, purple, green and blue.   Learn more...
