| Powered by ChromacoreŽ technology, the Full Spectrum Digital Mood Lighting system generates both programmable, colored effects and general-purpose cabin lighting through microprocessor-controlled LEDs. B/E's extensive experience in aircraft lighting systems, cabin interior design and the certification process, coupled with Color Kinetics' proven technology and expertise in LED-based illumination, creates a commercial innovation that represents a viable alternative to conventional light sources. As a result, airlines can distinguish their cabin interiors with soothing, customized colors, color-changing effects, or general-purpose lighting that, according to testing, is on average twice as bright as traditional fluorescent systems -- all while exhibiting the efficiency and cost-saving benefits of LEDs. |
