CA Translator V1 

Color Kinetics® CA Translator V1 is a microchip designed to take standard data inputs and convert them to the Chromasic data—Color Kinetics' specialized, propriatary data protocol that integrates power, communications, and control. CA Translator V1 allows for easy development of Chromasic-based products with industry standard control interfaces which reduces system integration efforts and overall time to market.

CA Translator V1 supports DMX512 and serial data inputs. The input formats and parameters, such as Baud rate, are user selectable at set-up. To simplify the integration of the CA Translator V1, a CA Translator V1 Developers Kit is available. The developers kit includes the translator chip mounted onto a printed circuit board with common power and data connectors as well as dipswitches for input parameter configuration.
