COLOR KINETICS MAKES A SPLASH AT LDI '98
WITH NEW WATERPROOF FIXTURE
Color Kinetics Incorporated, the pioneer of full spectrum digital lighting,
announces the newest addition to its popular C-Series family, the C-200
WaterColor. Designed for use in fountains, pools, landscaping, and exterior
architecture, among other harsh environments such as high humidity, the
C-200 WaterColor makes it feasible to use color-changing illumination
in places never before possible.
The C-200 WaterColor is powered by the same innovative Chromacore™
technology which has made the C-Series so popular since its debut at LDI'97
where it earned "Architectural Lighting Product of the Year." The rugged
C-200 WaterColor is compact and generates little heat, allowing it to
be inconspicuously mounted in confined spaces, under water, or in close
proximity to people and displays. Additionally, its ultra long source
life (up to 100,000 hours under normal operating conditions) eliminates
the cost of replacement lamps while greatly reducing maintenance costs.
"This fixture is a significant addition to our current product line, because
it extends the range and functionality of our products to entirely new
environments. The impetus for its introduction came directly from our
customers," notes company founder George Mueller.
The C-200 WaterColor features a tempered glass front lens and an O-ring
seal under the back plate, making it submersible up to three feet. It
is equipped with a mounting yoke and 20' unified power and data cable.
The C-200 WaterColor is available in standard silver anodized finish or
can be ordered in custom colors.
