Color Kinetics Introduces ColorScape, the World's First Line of
Digital Color Changing Lighting Especially for Pools and Spas

From the azure blue of the midday sky, and the golden hues of the sunset, to vibrantly colored cell phones and computers, colors abound in everyday life. Color Kinetics, the pioneer of full spectrum digital lighting, today introduces ColorScape..., the world's first line of digital color changing lighting especially for pools and spas. Color Kinetics™ ColorScape products are easy to install in virtually any standard pool or spa, and may be controlled to provide gorgeous colored light and dynamic color changing lighting effects via the company's patented Chromacore® digital lighting technology, which utilizes microprocessor-controlled, multi-colored LEDs (light emitting diodes) to generate colored light and lighting effects.
ColorScape products offer pool and spa owners a wealth of possibilities in differentiating and customizing their own pools and spas, and creating new environments to suit their fancy. The first products in the ColorScape Series are ColorScape 7 and ColorScape 22, both digital color changing retrofit lamps for spas and above ground pools. With Color Kinetics' intelligent digitally-controlled lighting products, it's never been easier to add light and color to a pool or spa. Traditional methods of creating colored light, such as fiber optic or the SAm light, have a number of drawbacks associated with them, including high heat production, low light intensity, complex installation, and frequent maintenance. However, ColorScape products are powered by Color Kinetics' patented Chromacore technology, which overcomes those drawbacks through the use of solid-state, digital LED technology. Chromacore is an innovative technology that generates rich, saturated colors and color-changing effects through the use of microprocessor-controlled, multi-colored LEDs - eliminating the need for color wheels or filters.
