Company Grows to Support High Demand For LED-based

Color Kinetics Incorporated, the pioneer of full spectrum digital lighting, today announces the formation of Color Kinetics Japan Incorporated, a joint venture between Color Kinetics and ALS, Inc., a planning division of the leading professional lighting company in Japan. Color Kinetics designs, manufactures and markets a full line of ground-breaking digital color-changing lighting products based on its patented Chromacore™ technology, which adds intelligent control to next-generation super-bright LEDs (light emitting diodes) to create millions of colors and a variety of color-changing lighting effects. Through this endeavor, Color Kinetics Japan will market the full Color Kinetics product line throughout Japan, contribute to the development of market-specific technologies and continue to grow the innovative, high-tech and colorful Color Kinetics brand in this market.
Kiyoshi Otsuki, president of ALS, Inc., will become president of Color Kinetics Japan. The office will officially open on April 1 of this year in Tokyo.
