With a full spectrum of colors on hand, airlines will be able to program and control dynamic lighting environments to enhance the passenger's flying experience. For example:
Custom effects featuring an airline's signature brand colors can welcome passengers aboard as they enter the aircraft and settle in for takeoff;
Unique dinner ambiances can be created, such as a deep red that lends an intimate atmosphere that is commonly found in small, quaint restaurants;
A "sunset" ambiance can be programmed for overnight flights, giving passengers a soothing cabin atmosphere that induces relaxation and sleep;
For morning illumination, cabin lighting can create a peaceful "sunrise" effect designed to slowly awaken passengers.
