BOSTON - January 9, 2001 - Color Kinetics introduces Sauce™ at Toy Fair 2001. It's cool. It's hip. It's color changing fun!
Officially launching at Toy Fair, Sauce™ is a new product line of the coolest color changing stuff that catches the eye, sparks the imagination, and provides hours of entertainment by creating a rainbow of colors and very cool lighting effects.
Sauce™ products are fun, high-tech items that are surprisingly easy to use. A built-in microprocessor mixes red, green, and blue LEDs (light emitting diodes) to produce impressive, vast color ranges through a variety of cool color changing modes that you can control. Select color washes, random color changes, fixed colors, and other effects with a simple push of a button or twist of a dial. With the extra long life of LEDs, no replacement bulbs are needed.
LightWand, the first product in the Sauce™ line, is a dynamic new illuminating wand that casts incredible color and color changing light. Wear it around your neck, clip it to your backpack or bike...LightWand lets you change colors to fit your mood, to make a statement, to match your outfit or to create a big splash at parties, concerts, sporting events...wherever you go.
