iColor® Cove NXT extends the range of applications made possible by Color Kinetics' award-winning iColor Cove family, which brings dynamic color and lighting effects to alcoves, accent areas, and other tight spaces.
iColor Cove NXT casts a wide beam angle of 120 degrees for a seamless distribution of rich, uniform color. It is designed for projects that require wider beam distribution, exhibit a need to set the light fixture in a set, non-aimed position, and have the need for uniform color mixing at a closer range. iColor Cove NXT is ideally suited for applications where alcove space is limited and light fixture positions are very close to walls or ceilings. The uniform beam intensity, coupled with superior color mixing, also makes this product ideal for many backlighting applications. In contrast, iColor Cove and iColor Cove LT are designed for applications that require a narrower light distribution, further throw, and the ability to focus light output directionally. The Chromacore®-powered system provides the following advantages:
- Sleek, modular design; Available in 6" and 12" lengths.
- Each length can be individually controlled using Color Kinetics ColorPlay® and iPlayer® 2 or third-party controller.
- Cased in low-profile, vented, molded plastic housing.
- The wide beam angle with uniform color mixing delivers ubiquitous light effects to accent areas.
- Simplified mounting allows for uniform alignment of multiple systems as well as easy rotation of systems.
