LAS VEGAS - October 18, 2002 - Since its first LDI appearance in 1997, Color Kinetics has built a solid reputation as the leader of intelligent LED illumination technologies. Now, for its 6th LDI, the company builds on its expertise and experience in creating innovative illumination products using cutting-edge LED technology by displaying a variety of Solid State Lighting products that are marking their LDI debuts. Products making their LDI debut include:
- iColor® Accent: This award-winning product marries Color Kinetics' patented intelligent control capabilities with the latest LED advancements to create an affordable, low-voltage, direct-view linear light capable of displaying bright, brilliant changing color and lighting effects. iColor Accent is available in one-, four-, and eight-foot lengths, and is the ideal solution for illuminating architectural highlights, such as building outlines, and other commercial, retail, or residential applications, with brilliant colored light and dynamic lighting effects.
- bColor Series: Color Kinetics enhances its series of spotlight and wallwashing color changing intelligent LED illumination fixtures with four new products: ColorBlast® 6, ColorBlast 12, ColorBurst™ 4, and ColorBurst 6. All four products are rated for indoor or outdoor use, and are available in a variety of finishes to integrate into any environment.
- ColorPlay® 1.8: The latest version of Color Kinetics' popular groundbreaking light show authoring software for intelligent LED illumination fixtures offers increased functionality and a number of enhanced features, including integration with CAST Software's WYSIWYG Perform program. Designers will wonder just how they designed without it!
- PDS-150e/PDS-500e: Color Kinetics marries power and intelligence in these two new sleek and economical power and data supplies. With these products, it's never been easier to unleash the beauty of intelligent LED illumination technology. Both products offer a robust power source and intelligent data drive circuitry for all Color Kinetics illumination fixtures.
- unoColor Series: As the pioneer of LED illumination products, Color Kinetics makes single color simply better with its line of single color LED fixtures. The first product, unoColor Cove, is a linear fixture available in two lengths and four colors: blue, red, green or amber.
All of these products are based on Color Kinetics' patented Chromacore® technology. The introduction of Chromacore at LDI in 1997 caused a stir in the industry by offering a completely new way of creating colored light and effects, resulting in the establishment of a brand-new market segment.
