Manufacturing Engineer

The company is headquartered in Burlington, MA with offices in the UK and China. We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to perform detailed Design for Manufacturability, Advanced Product Quality Planning, and PFMEAs, leading to successful New Product Launch. Position is located at the Design headquarters near Boston, but will involve significant travel (25%) to Contract Manufacturing sites in Asia and Mexico. This key individual will be required to work at both high level and perform very detailed hands-on analysis to ensure success of products. Qualifications: BSME, BSIE, of BSMfgE 5+ Years Experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Design for Manufacturability Expert Proven experience with APQP and PFMEAs Proven experience in Product Cost Reduction, especially in the Design Phase High Technology product manufacturing experience, especially with Box Assemblies using PCBAs Experience working with Contract Manufacturers a Plus Experience with Die Casting, Plastic Assemblies, Extrusions, and Machined Parts, including Supplier Selection and Qualification a Plus Experience in PCBA manufacturing processes a Plus Excellent written and oral communication skills Travel 25%, primarily to Asia and Mexico Hands-on engineer with ability to handle details History of increasing responsibility Self starter able to work independently Team oriented To apply for a position, please email resume and cover letter to careers@colorkinetics.com or fax to 781-418-9205.
